| The actual highligth is of course the Gordon Bennett Race which started on saturday, august, the 31 in Chatellerault (France).
After 70 h of flight the Leys brothers won the 2002 Gordon Bennett gas balloon Race. They have travelled over the Atlantic ocean 400 km far from the Portugese coast and they have landed 70 km south of Lisboa.
They won with more than twice the other competitors distance and they did a "magic" journey over the Atlantic ocean.
